Hi! My name is Rosie Moyer. I am a work at home mom with 2 kids (Jake is 10 and Morgan is 13).
I have been self employed in the photography and multimedia business for over 20 years.
As a graduate from Vancouver Film School, I am skilled in working with digital photography, cdrom development, DVD authoring, website production
and specializing in video editing and effects. With a very young start into the multimedia industry, I have won many national awards for my video work,
and have contributed in helping large companies win multimillion dollar bids through my presentations. Before I had turned 21, I had already aired 3
music videos on much music that I had shot, edited and directed. My photos have been featured on Magazine covers and in some baby books as well.
Little Laughs started as a side project, as my husband and I went to several photographers when our
daughter was born. We kept getting pressure sales and huge costs for prints we were wishing there was a
company with lots of props, with the touched up photos on CDROM. Plus as new parents we could not afford to spend thousands on photos. Little Laughs was created shortly after.
Over the years word of mouth has turned Little Laughs into a full time job. I love my job and all the wonderful families I get to meet and watch grow over the years.
A few fun facts about me:
- I often have “crazy hair”, I love playing with bright colors in my hair. I have had pink and even rainbow. I cant remember the last time my color was “normal”
- I am not shy. I am very outgoing. This works in my favor, as it allows me to easily organize & direct large groups without a problem.
- I can do a great "Elmo" voice – it makes the adults laugh as much as the kids (after the inital shock wears off).
- I am an awful cook. I burn everything I touch. I have learned to just face that as fact.
- I am funny, silly and goofy – I get little ones bouncing off the walls (makes for great photos)
- I LOVE animals, we do have 1 cat and 2 dogs, I would rescue them all if I could.
- I love to rollerskate and I have played Roller Derby for over 10 years!. I love the sport!
- I never ask anyone to "smile". The best images are caught by creating a silly fun time and real laughter.
